This is two paintings in one. The back panel has gorgeous crackles with rich layers of color. The top area also has a touchable texture, being that it is slightly raised. The smaller panel is painted with acrylics and micaceous iron oxide that creates a metallic texture, This piece also has collage and it is a matte finish, wired and ready to hang with the sides painted to match the front. I dreamed this painting. The mermaid is sitting in a chair, the seat of wisdom. The fish swim around here and the water cloud swirls in vibrant shimmering colors which are in contrast with the more muted colors. This is a rather unique piece for me, just out of my dreams.
